In other news, I'm learning to run a sound board & a light board. Yes, I, Pegra the great and powerfully afraid of lighting boards have been sucked into running lights for this show. Not full-time, of course. My role is more the great-booth-backup-babe than actual techie. Thank heavens. One night I'll be running lights, another night I'll be running sound. The rest of the time, I'll be hanging out in the booth causing trouble. And racking my brain for who played "Florence" in my college production of "The Curious Savage." It annoys me no end that I cannot remember who it was. I've remembered everyone else! I even remember some of Doc Hail-Him's direction to me--how to say "my mother was afraid of so many Elks" is the one that springs to mind. Ah, memwees....
Alas, dinner is here, and I need to eat before scampering to the theatre. Think good show thoughts, as tonight is opening night!!
