clearing my head... sort of....
I had such wonderful illusions of writing a brilliantly funny entry about my time at PoeCon with Lani and Warped One and NMH.... But that isn't going to happen since I'm stressed to the fishin' GILLS! (I'm so stressed I'm making bad puns--what does this tell you?)
Why am I stressed, you ask? Because I'm quitting my job. That, in and of itself should be a huge relief. Unfortunately, I now have to figure out what to do instead. Tackling the question of "what career interests you" is not something I'd planned to tackle this year.... Alas, we need a second income, so I have to come up with something better than "link-hop from website to website, reading whatever hits my fancy and writing a bit." Unless, of course, there's money to be made in that, at which point--I'm your girl!

At the moment, NMH is doing Regular Guy Yoga. I should be beside him, breathing and sweating and such. But he picked the night when I feel tired, miserable and stressed to put in the NEW video. The new video managed to start kicking my butt (literally) in short order. Since I'd gone to the chiro-back-cracking-witch-doctor yesterday, I was feeling the bad spots every sixth breath. Obviously, sitting and typing was more attractive than any possible cardio-weight loss benefits of Regular Guy Yoga.
Maybe I'll do the luzer beginner video when he's done... and gone away upstairs. Maybe I'll just put another coat of nail polish on my fingernails. Who knows?

Sophia recently commented on my general sub-happiness. I cannot deny that I have some more soul-searching in store for me. I haven't decided if I should subject you people to this crap self-analysis, or just torment my hard drive and NMH with my delusions. Maybe I'll go see FirstBorn's counselor, since FirstBorn is over his anxiety issues. Amazing what getting him out of the SOLStress School did for him.... Sure his new school is expensive, but it is completely worth it. If only we could find something like that for me....
OK, off to deal with domestic duties and hide in a book. Probably in that order. sigh....
