Road Trip!!
WooHoo!! Off to Haven to revel in roller coasters and rum drinks! Fireside socialization, petting big furry dog and being woken up far too early by children eager to ride rides.
At least that's the plan.
The elder child I sit, N, came down with something vomitrocious last evening before her mum arrived to fetch her. I frantically disinfected as much of the house as I could. Unfortunately, Wednesday is a play date--this means said child was ALL OVER THE HOUSE. Not that she vomited all over the house, but if it's a virus, then those germs are EVERYWHERE.
If it isn't a virus, we have much bigger problems. So I'm hoping it's a virus that we're all constitutionally able to withstand. And not spread to residents of the Haven area.
So think good virus-free-healthy-child thoughts, my friends! I'm packing up and hitting the road....
