Bullet Point Update
Sorry to keep it so short, my life is driving me mad....
*My daughter turned three yesterday. We are changing her name from "Screaming Harlot" to "Groove Girl" because she drops everything to go dance. She especially likes dancing right in front of the band. Even if the band is mechanically operated stuffed creatures of improbable origin. Given the choice between presents or dancing, she came, got the present, took it to her "spot" on the "dance floor" and opened it. I suffered much ribbing for this. I have no idea why.
*I have uncovered an irritating and disturbing trend regarding FirstBorn's school system and how they handle children with academic problems. Not just my child, as I've heard stories from MANY people who have had similar problems. Including the woman who runs the Parent Resource Center for the County School System. Said employee has a child with a legally mandated plan as well, so she's aware of both sides of the issue....
*I have to edit & publish two things for church before the end of the month. I also need to contact someone about borrowing curriculum. And track down the stewardship campaign info & finish the budget and win the lottery and ... oh, wait, that last part isn't necessary. It would solve some of the budget problems, though.
*I need to reschedule my visit to Haven, as I had to cancel. The weekend I *was* going was the only decent time available to take FirstBorn for more psycho-ed testing.
**and that's not even the whole grumping list. It's just all I have time for at the moment.
The good news is NMH took me out to dinner the other night for the best beef we've ever had.... I drool on myself just thinking about it. Yummmm....
