Right. The rules are what again? OH, write eight (8) bits of trivia about myself, name 8 people who have to do the same, and go on about my business. Well, I can do the first half, at least....
1. I was an Army brat at birth, born in the Panama Canal Zone. Daddy ended his time in the Army before I was three. I think. I'd ask, but he might still be bitter....
2. I thought black and white pictures, movies, video was lame until I saw the video for "Fortress Around your Heart" and saw Sting's eyes.... To this day that look gives me palpitations.
3. When challenged by a friend to say what color my eyes were, NMH declared "Green. Well, actually they're hazel, but she hates that word, so they're green." I was flabbergasted that he'd noticed my eyes, much less my feeling about their color. I'm still flabbergasted, actually, and it's been over 15 years.
4. People say my daughter looks just like me. My hair was much redder than hers when I was that age. I was also better at keeping my clothes on my body.
5. My son acts just like I did when I was that age. Except at the dinner table, where he is as picky as his father was at that age. That is the sound of God trying not to laugh at me....
6. I am an instigator, but not a ring-leader.
7. My names don't match on my driver's license and voter registration. I blame the DMV for being irksome. NMH wants me to get my name legally changed for consistancy's sake. One day I will.
8. Aside from my crush on Sting, no other crush in my life has made sense to the female population at large. I'm not even convinced that the crush on Sting makes sense to the female population at large....
OK, if Stepford Tart, BlueMeany, hothead, uummm, and anyone else wants to do this--consider yourself tagged. But I'm thinking recess is about over and I will still be "it" tomorrow....
