patience. yeah, yeah....
So I've finished the "Ghost" series--at least what is out so far. I am now waiting for the rest of the fifth book. The bastiges at Baen have the prologue and first 8 chapters online. And naturally, that's the book I hit when I Googled Tucker. And, foolish me, I read it without seeing where it fell in the series.
The good news is that I've rediscovered the public library in my efforts to catch up to what I read of the teaser. The bad news is that I'm stuck waiting until JULY to see if Tucker's character recovers from the near-fatal gunshot wound. I hate waiting.
And I'm also awaiting an e-mail from the man himself. Tucker was going to be doing the geek thing this weekend. A young lady has been spouting some interesting delusions about her relationship with him to mutual friends, aquaintences, etcetera. And they were all going to be around this weekend. Going in, he was suffering mixed emotions. I'm looking for the after-action report.
I'm also looking for a plaid skirt and white blouse, but that's a whole 'nuther story....
